By: Joe

Salt Marsh Grass
By: Bri
Cordgrass is one if not only the major example for salt marsh grass. Let alone the flower
that grows within the grass. Spartina alterniflora. Grass family is poaceae.
Dinoflagellates
By: Reagan and Colleen
They can
be photosynthetic or heterotrophic. They
reproduce asexually. Known for their bio luminescence.
Types: zooxanthellae, cryptophytes,
Radiolarians
By: Frank and Noah
Produce mineral skeletons dividing the cell into inner and outer portions.
Polycystinea radiolarians are protists. Acantharea are protozoans. They have
really cool skeletons. Sticholonchea are also protists, but they are unusual
radiolarians because they are found deeper than normal radiolarians.
Radiolarians are usually perfectly geometric.
Diatoms
By: Jonathan and Jordan
Algae. Eukaryotes. Live in freshwater.
ex. Melosira, diatoms linked
together to form long filaments. Thalassiosira flat and narrow, typically in
marine waters. Fragilariopsis mostv common in polar areas. Most abundant diatoms.
