Last quarter we started to look at invertebrates in the ocean. We learned the different phylums in order from most simple to complicated. We learned what animals were in each phylum. We started to dissect so apparently I turned into Jeffrey Dahmer. At the end of the quarter the tank looked really bad for a while but then Noah and I went in on that cleaning job and then it looked perf again, of course. We got a fish fat so we thought it was pregnant, but it still hasn't had babies so I'm starting to think that its just fat instead of pregnant. Stupid fat fish.
This quarter we started to learn about and dissect vertebrates. I definitely think these dissections were more fun because they had more complexity in their systems. I think the animals that I could go in and decipher what organs where what was the most fun out of all of it. It was also pretty fun to squirt juices on Kyle cause he freaks out about it. While I was dissecting the skate Kyle was very pleased with the job I was doing though, not really. He and Bri were freaking out. I wasn't even that bad, but whatevaaaa. Then we made a shark out of clay and stuff and it was really fun. Unfortunately 3 of its fins fell off and we had to put them back on like five different times. It got to the point that we just superglued on the left pectoral fin and caudal fin because it was just impossible to get them to stick. hmmmm and I guess that's about all I did this quarter.
Overall it has been a fun year and ill definitely miss this class.
